The Panshanger Golf Complex in Old Herns Lane, Welwyn Garden City provides first-class golfing facilities which are rated amongst the best in the country and are open to the general public. The Complex is situated off the B1000 Hertford Road and is easily accessible from the A1(M) with the route clearly signposted.

THE 18TH GREEN

The main golfing facility is an 18-hole championship course set in a picturesque valley on the outskirts of the town. The Par 70 course is over 6,300 yds in length and is superbly maintained throughout the year.

THE 9-HOLE PITCH & PUTT COURSES

Other golfing facilities include a 9-hole Pitch and Putt course, Putting Green and a substantial practice area.

THE PUTTING GREEN

The Panshanger Golf Club and the Junior Golf Section are organised independently of the Welwyn Hatfield Council who actually own and maintain the course and other leisure facilities on site. These include The Fairway Tavern, Squash courts and Banqueting suite.
